<p>The invention concerns a tool (1) for centring and clamping at least a part (P) to be fixed in position and comprising a through passage (19) adjusted for said tool, comprising, preferably, a control member (7) borne at the end of a housing (2) having an upper surface forming a support for said part (P) and clamping members (8), further including means for driving (5, 14, 15) the clamping members (8) between a centring position wherein the clamping members (8) are retracted inside the control member (7) and a plurality of clamping positions wherein the clamping members (8) project outside the control member (7) and is supported on the part (P), the clamping members consisting of two levers (8) articulated about a median axis (8c) to form a deformable X-shape, each lever (8) having a first free end (8a) urged to be supported on the part to be fixed (P), their second end (8b) being linked to the driving means (5, 14, 15). The invention is characterised in that said tool has a structure capable of adapting to parts having different thickness. The invention is applicable to centring and clamping tools.</p> |
