<p>The invention concerns a device for measuring the position and the orientation of a mobile object relative to a fixed structure, in perturbed magnetic surroundings, comprising: a first assembly of orthogonal coils (121 to 123) emitting magnetic fields, integral with the fixed structure defining a reference marker; a second assembly of orthogonal coils receiving magnetic field (s), integral with the object, and forming a sensor (14), each of the coils belonging to a sensor path. Said device comprises means: (1) for simultaneous and continuous field emission, on the coils of the of the first assembly; for measuring, on the sensor paths, the vector sum of the emitted fields and of the disturbance fields generated by the surroundings; for evaluating the disturbance fields; for estimating fields emitted in unperturbed surroundings, by suppressing the evaluated disturbance fields from the vector sum; (2) for calculating the position and orientation of the object in the reference marker.</p> |
