<p>The invention concerns a method for making a bipolar membrane which consists in: treating a cationic membrane with a group 8 metal salt; treating an anionic membrane with a transition metal salt not belonging to group 8; and conjoining the two membranes, the latter being contacted, before and after being conjoined, with a treatment solution selected among aqueous alkaline solutions, aqueous metallic sulphate solutions and aqueous metallic sulphite solutions.</p> |
