The catheter at least consists of a discharge tube (1) and has an outlet (2) on its proximal end; its distal end has at least one inlet (3). The discharge tube contains a part with profiled outer surface (11) which has outer lugs(111) extending longitudinally over its periphery. The lugs form as small a contact surface as possible for the urethra wall (4). The hollow cavities between the lugs form drainage paths (112).
