<p>The invention concerns an apparatus for cleaning of a surface (8)such as a pavement from small lumps (4) such as chewing gum. The apparatus comprises at least a second means (2) and a third means (3). Preferably the apparatus also comprises a first means (1). The first means is a means for altering the texture of the small lumps (4) by either heating the small lumps (4) to a texture being softer or by cooling the lumps (4) to a texture being more solid. The second means (2) is a rotary brush for cleaning off the small lumps (4) from the surface (8). The third means (3) is a tray or a box for collecting of the small lumps (4) that have been cleaned of the surface (8). The third means (3) is arranged behind the brush so that foremost edges of the third means (3) are positioned in the immediate vicinity of the bristles (10) of the brush. Thereby the collection of the small lumps (4) is improved, especially if the third means (3) constitutes a mouthpiece for a suction unit.</p> |
