<p>The invention concerns a method for analysing a network of conductors, in particular an electric supply network, which consists in: measuring the spectral (49) and temporal (50) nature of a signal available at a network node; comparing said produced image with an expected image (52-55) representing an operational state of one and/or the other of the appliances connected to said network; deducing therefrom whether the appliances are on or off. That information can be used to optimise use of electric power, or for monitoring the activity of the appliances concerned.</p> |
