The support roller has a base(3) on each side and into which is pressed a rolling bearing(2) for an axle stub(1). The axle stub has an internally threaded bore(6) located with a 1-2 millimeter offset in relation to the longitudinal axis(5). The stub axle has a stepped outer diameter. The roller bases are produced by deep drawing. The stub axles each have a fitting(7) with flats to facilitate the use of a spanner.
