A panoramic camera is provided. The panoramic camera includes a camera body having a lens on its front and a cover for covering a film on its rear wall. Film cartridges, for moving the film while rotating, are installed at either side inside the rear wall of the camera body. An operation motor having a decelerator, connected to the film cartridges by means of a belt to rotate the film cartridges, is installed near one of the film cartridges. An exposure slit, to which the film is exposed to form an image, is vertically formed in the center of the rear wall of the camera body. A rotating platen rotatable with movement of the film is installed in the lower portion of the exposure slit. A rotation axis is connected to the rotating platen downward to be connected to a tripod. An exposure device is installed in the upper portion of the camera body to control the intensity of light having passed through the lens. Since the panoramic camera has a simplified configuration, the manufacturing cost can be reduced and the maintenance and repair can be easily performed. Also, since the exposure device has functionally improved, a clean, visible image can be photographed regardless of the ambient light intensity. Further, the panoramic camera according to the present invention can afford users ease and convenience in use, leading to growing purchasing power of the product. |
