<p>Device for purifying municipal or similar wastewater using the one-tank technology, the biological reactor 5 being subdivided by an immersed wall 1 into a feed reservoir 2 and a main tank 3, and activated sludge being passed from the main tank into the feed area until in both tanks essentially the same conditions prevail, and the sludge surface in the feed area being kept during the first section of the inflow and takeoff phase above the lower edge of the immersed wall, the passage of untreated wastewater into the main tank being delayed in this manner and breakthrough of untreated wastewater through the main tank being avoided. <IMAGE></p> |
