The invention concerns a voltage transformer having the following characteristics: a pair of input terminals (EK1, EK2) for applying an input voltage (V1); a series circuit connected in parallel to the pair of input terminals (EK1, EK2) of a first switch (S, T1) and a low pass filter (TP), wherein the low pass filter (TP) has output terminals (AK1, AK2) for connecting a load (R>L<); a free-wheeling circuit (FS) connected in parallel to the low pass filter (TP). The free-wheeling circuit (FS) has a second switch (T2) with a gate terminal (G) and a load path formed between a first load path terminal (S) and a second load path terminal (D)that is configured as an MOS transistor, whose body zone is mounted in a floated manner or is connected to its source zone by means of an ohmic resistor. |
