A method for adjusting the conductivity or the strength of a Cu-Ag alloy plate produced by subjecting an alloy ingot having a composition wherein Ag content is 4 to 32 atomic % and Cu accounts for the balance to a heat treatment under a specific range of conditions and then cold rolling, which comprises providing a plurality of plates rolled at a certain reduction ratio, heating the plurality of plates to a plurality of temperatures, measuring the strength and the conductivity of the plurality of plates after the heating, preparing a conductivity heating temperature curve and a strength-heating temperature curve which show relationships between conductivity and heating temperature and between strength and heating temperature, respectively, determining the optimum heat treatment temperature for a desired conductivity or strength using the above curve, and subjecting a plate rolled at the above reduction ratio to a heat treatment at the above optimum temperature.
