The circuit has photo diodes (F1,F2), a pair of transistors (T2,T3) and a transistor based differencing amplifier (D). The high frequency optical signals are converted into electrical form in two circuit stages. They are added /subtracted to be used in the differencing amplifier for checking the condition of the integrated circuit.
