The invention relates to an agent for the production of a medicament which i s used postoperatively after the removal of bone tumours. The inventive agent is produced from a nucleic acid. A sequence known per se for promoting bone growth and a protease inhibitor also known per se are bonded by means of a variable spacer molecule. Said bonding results in a novel bifunctional activ e substance which combines both properties in one biological molecule. The invention is used in medecine, particularly in the specialist field of orthopaedics.
