The cycle pump comprises an air pump (12) having a drive shaft (13) with drive wheel (15) on the outside. The pump is fixable on the cycle by a holder (16) so that the drive wheel can be brought into engagement with an element of the chain drive which is driven by pedals and has a return freewheel. the pump can be attached on the cycle and the drive wheel can be arranged so that it engages underneath the lower side of the cycle chain (7).
