PURPOSE: A method of selecting a menu of a multifunction digital disk player is provided to decide whether a suspension occurs while selecting a menu, and to store menu information at a point when the suspension occurs, then to read the stored menu information when the menu is re-selected, so as to set the menu which is not set in a pre-selected final menu. CONSTITUTION: A user sets a watching environment through many menus(S20). A multifunction digital disk player decides whether a suspension occurs while setting the watching environment(S22). If so, the digital disk player stores menu information of the suspension state in a predetermined memory(S24). If a menu selection is re-started(S26), the digital disk player reads the stored menu information(S28), to set the suspended watching environment. If the suspension does not occur, the digital disk player decides whether the menu selection is completed(S30). If so, the digital disk player completes the menu selection(S32).
