PURPOSE: A case structure for roof air conditioner is provided, in which base plate and case cover are arranged to surface-contact with each other, to thereby achieve a sealing improvement and simplified configuration. CONSTITUTION: A case structure comprises a base plate(17) arranged onto the vehicle roof, and which has an inlet port(13) and an outlet port(15) and an evaporator(11), a blower(7) and related components incorporated therein; and a case cover(19) for covering the evaporator, blower and related components. The base plate has a protrusion(21) arranged at both ends of the base plate, and a nut portion(23) arranged beneath the protrusion, and is bolted to a body roof panel(3). The base plate has a drain pan(25) formed by bending a portion of the base plate, wherein the drain pan collect condensate water generated from the evaporator. The case cover has a skirt portion(27) formed by bending, in a vertical direction, both sides of the case cover. The front end of the skirt portion is bent in a horizontal direction and vertical direction, in turn, so as to form a mounting portion(29) surface-contacting the protrusion of the base plate. The mounting portion has a bolt hole to be coupled through a bolt(33) with the nut portion formed beneath the protrusion.
