AUTOMATIC CONTROL APPARATUS FOR REFRIGERATOR DOOR OPEN/CLOSE

PURPOSE: An automatic control apparatus is provided to prevent frequent opening of the refrigerator door and cooling air leakage by preventing the refrigerator door from being opened by an unauthorized person or children. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a finger print sensor(9) attached to the front surface of a refrigerator door; a micro computer(27) for comparing the detection signal output from the finger print sensor with a preset finger print signal, and judging whether the detection signal is the same with the preset finger print signal; and an automatic control unit for refrigerator door open/close for automatically controlling refrigerator door open/close operation in accordance with the judgement value output from the micro computer. The automatic control unit includes a first magnet mounted to a refrigerator main body(15); a second magnet mounted to a refrigerator door(3); and a magnetic force generating unit for converting polarity or magnetic strength of magnets in accordance with the output from the micro computer.
