METHOD AND DEVICE OF FORMING OUTER CIRCUMFERENCE OF GRINDING STONE

PURPOSE: A grinding stone processing method and a device thereof are provided to economically process the outer circumference of a grinding stone and to remove inconvenience of replacement of a processing grinding stone when various curvatures are desired. CONSTITUTION: A grinding stone processing device comprises: a rotating panel(107) combined to the front face of a support body(106); first and second guide bars(112,113); a reciprocating transfer member(120); a length-adjustable grinding tool; a transfer member reciprocating unit; and a rotating panel angle changing unit for inclining the rotating panel to let the grinding tool reciprocate with a specific inclination. To form a convex circumference on the concave circumference of a grinding stone, the grinding tool is inclined from the horizontal position of the processing face of a workpiece. The workpiece is mounted on a wheel spindle, and then, the wheel spindle is rotated. The grinding tool is reciprocated in the inclined state. Thereafter, the workpiece is transferred toward the grinding tool. Therefore, the workpiece is ground with various curvatures.
