PURPOSE: A level shifting path gate is provided to form a level shifting path gate that includes a field effect transistor whose source is connected to a signal input and whose drain is connected to a signal output. CONSTITUTION: A level shifting path gate is provided with the first circuit that has a path transistor whose major conduction path is connected between the signal input and the signal output and has a load connected to the signal output and with the second circuit that is configured to control the first circuit in such a way that when an enable signal applied to an enable input is active and the 1st logic level is applied to the signal input, the path transistor applies a logic level whose level is shifted to the signal output, when the second logic level is fed to the signal input, the path transistor is not substantially shifted and the second logic level is applied to the signal output, and when the enable signal is inactive, the signal input is set to a high impedance state and the signal output is set to a prescribed state.
