CORRECTION AND STATISTICS METHOD FOR DM LOGGING DATA OF MOBILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A correction and statistics method for DM(Diagnostic Monitor) logging data of a mobile terminal is provided to enhance the accuracy of analysis statistics by correcting a time and a slot number of each message to newly generate the DM logging data, analyzing the generated DM logging data, and calculating an accurate statistics when testing paging performance. CONSTITUTION: A time and a slot message of each message in logging data received from a mobile terminal to a DM are corrected for newly generating the DM logging data(S10). A statistics to the DM logging data is calculated through analysis to the generated DM logging data when testing the paging performance(S30). Many sample messages at a uniform interval are extracted among the logging data received from the mobile terminal to the DM. A primary sample message is selected as a reference message among the extracted sample messages. Residual sample messages except for the selected reference message are compared with a comparison message. It is confirmed whether the comparison messages remain. If the comparison messages remain, a primary comparison message among the remain comparison messages is compared with the reference message on the basis of a time and a slot number of the selected reference message. If a value for adding the slot number of the reference message to the calculated slot difference is equal to a slot number of the comparison message, a value of a counter is increased by 1. If the comparison messages do not remain, it is confirmed whether the reference messages remain. If the reference messages do not remain, a reference message having a maximum counter value is selected as a correct reference message. Times and slot numbers of all messages are corrected through a time and a slot number of the selected reference message for generating new DM logging data.
