PURPOSE: To extend the concept of a style sheet to apply it to sound and image information in order to expressing sound and image information by DDL, XML, etc., to efficiently manage and process information. CONSTITUTION: An application generation method includes a stage, where multimedia information which includes at least two of sound data, image data, and text data and is described in a language which structuralizes information is acquired, a stage where a style sheet including definitions related to a display form of data of multimedia information and those related to processing of data of multimedia information is acquired, and a stage where the style sheet is applied to multimedia information and processing is performed to generate an application, which manipulates the multimedia information data. |
