Fragrance containing organopolysiloxane composition and method of preparation

An organopolysiloxane composition comprising 5 to 99.9 wt% of a crosslinked product of organopolysiloxane which is liquid or gel-like at normal temperature, the crosslinked product containing silicon-bonded polyoxyalkylene groups described by general formula -R<1)<OR<2>)mOR<3>, where R<1> and R<2> are independently selected alkylene groups, R<3> is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, alkyl groups, acyl groups, and isocyan group, and m is a positive integer, and (B) 95 to 0.1 wt% of a fragrance material. The composition has superior fragrance retention capability when use to impart fragrance to other compositions such as hair conditioners, shampoos, and cosmetics.
