PURPOSE: An apparatus for inserting a rivet is provided to improve the productivity and the quality of a rivet product by automating the process of riveting, and to prevent the miss-assembly of the rivet. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for inserting a rivet comprises a robot(10); an arm(11) movably installed to the one end of the robot; a pneumatic cylinder device installed on the other end of the arm for pressurizing a rivet to advance it; an inserting tool(20) installed at the front of the pressure device for inserting the rivet into a hole drilled on a desired fastening member; and a rivet supply hose(30) installed on the one side of the inserting tool for supplying the rivet to the inserting tool. A nipper member is provided at the front of the inserting tool for tightening the rivet after holding the rivet in a horizontal condition.
