The corner retainer (1) has a fixed bracket (8) fixed to the lower cross member to co-operate with a movable frame section (9) which carries the retainer and which is fixed to the opening frame. The retainer has a pivot ball joint (11) with a convex engagement surface above which is a contact surface of the movable frame member. The ball joint has side stop faces to limit the pivoting.
