PURPOSE: An underarm deodorant containing alum as main material is provided, which has inhibitory effects on the offensive smell of the armpit free from problems of safety. CONSTITUTION: Alum is heated at low temperature for 30 to 40min to produce crystalline and grinded to produce white powder useful as underarm deodorant. The deodorant is applied to the armpit and has inhibitory effects especially on the offensive smell of the armpit called hircismus smell.
