PURPOSE: A web mail service method and an apparatus using a JAVA program are provided to make various menus for design of a mail and enable a selection to be automatically coded with a JAVA program. CONSTITUTION: A user(10) accesses to a web server(20) to write mail messages. A design of the mail to be transferred is selected in various menus including various types of backgrounds, sizes, and picturing effect, etc. The selection is automatically coded in a server with a JAVA program and the mail is stored in a receivers' mail box. If the receiver has not registered the web site, the mail coded with the JAVA program can not be seen in a general mail server. Thus, the coded mail is stored first(23). A mail checking message is made(24). The message is transferred to the receiver's mail server(30). After the receiver(40) confirms the mail checking message, he/she links to a JAVA mail server(25) to request for the mail. The JAVA mail server transfers the mail stored in a file form to the receiver and let him/her checking the mail.
