PURPOSE: A steeping machine of optical fiber is provided, which is characterized by steeping automatically and increasing production amount. CONSTITUTION: The steeping machine is comprised of: a Z-axis transferring device(54) which is fixed with a fixing bracket(52) to an XY orthogonal robot(51) on the upper part of a supplied fabric(5), transferring a feed shaft(53) in the Z-axis direction; a transferring device(60) fixed to a transferring board(55) fixed to the feed shaft(53) and preventing move by a guide plate; a needle(56) having a hollow which is inserted into the lower part of the transferring device(60) and is fixed; a pair of pushing rollers(62) which are installed on the transferring board(55) and are rotated with a step motor(61), transferring downward the optical fiber into the hollow of the needle(56); a blade which is set on the lower part of the needle(56), moving on right and left by transfer of the feed shaft(53); a cutter which is installed on the fixing bracket(52), cutting the optical fiber(8) by right/left moving of the blade; a line divider(66) supporting the bottom of the fabric(5) under the needle(56) and driving with a sub-actuator(67); and a tying machine(68) tying the optical fiber(8) inserted into the line divider(66).
