PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly detect the position of an occupant without influence of an obstacle in a seating detection device for the occupant. SOLUTION: A car body floor part 2a is grounded, plural antenna electrodes 11 for forming plural electric fields between the car body floor part 2a and themselves are arranged on a roof part 2b in the inside 2 of the car by at least spacing them apart in the longitudinal direction of the body, and a high-frequency circuit 13 for feeding radio wave generating power is connected to the respective antenna electrodes 11, so that the seating position of the occupant is detected by the variation of current or voltage of each of the electric field.
