PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agrochemical, especially herbicide having excellent activities by using a carbamoyltetrasolinone compound as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This carbamoyltetrasolinone compound is represented by formula (1) [wherein, R1 is a phenyl group (with the proviso that the phenyl group can be substituted with one or more same or different substituents selected from a 1-4C alkyl group, a 1-4C haloalkyl group, or the like); R2 and R3 are each a hydrogen atom, a 1-4C alkyl group, or the like; R4 and R5 are each a hydrogen atom, a 1-6C alkyl group, a 3-6C cycloalkyl group, or the like]. The agrochemical or the herbicide contains the compound as an active ingredient.
