LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to control the selection sequence of projection wires when displaying and deleting an image in each pixel, and obtain excellent display performance even when displaying moving images. CONSTITUTION: A pair of substrates in which at least one side is transparent are arranged. A liquid crystal layer is interposed between the substrates. Projection wires(101) are formed on one substrate. Signal wires(102) cross the projection wires(101). Active elements(105) are arranged correspondingly to crossed points of the signal wires(102) and the projection wires(101). Pixel electrodes are connected to the active elements(105). Common wires(103) are respectively formed between the projection wires(101). Opposite electrodes respectively connect with the common wires(103). Display is performed while moving molecules of liquid crystals(104) in a liquid crystal layer by a voltage applied to the pixel electrodes and the opposite electrodes. Second active elements(107) connect with projection wires different from the projection wires(101) connected through the pixel electrodes and active elements(105). Pulse of selecting the common wires(103) corresponding to the pixel electrodes and clearing image signals applied to the pixel electrodes is applied between selection pulse of projection wires for registering the image signals to the pixel electrodes and selection pulse of the projection wires for displaying a next image.
