PURPOSE: To provide a locking structure of a connector which can reinforce lock holding strength and locking strength to an appropriate extent by enhancing rigidity of a pressing operation lever of a lock arm, and at same time, enhance a click feeling at fitting connection as well as prevent the pressing operation lever from getting hooked by other wires. CONSTITUTION: A locking protrusion 7 is set on an outside face of one connector housing 3 insertion fitting male and female connectors 1, 2, and a lock arm having a locking claw 16 for fitting with the locking protrusion 7 is set through a hinged leg part 17 capable of elastic deformation on an outside face of the other connector housing 4. Further, the locking structure is provided with a pressing operation lever 18 at the rear part of the lock arm 15 extending backward from the hinged leg part 17, which forms, together with a pair of bridging pieces 19, connected to both sides faces of the lever 18 and integrally combined with the both side walls of the other connector housing 4, a gate-like lock guard.
