PURPOSE: To provide a loudspeaker drive circuit that causes no damage to sound quality or the like, even when the level of a sound signal is increased. CONSTITUTION: The loudspeaker drive circuit, provided with ultra-low sound frequency enhancing means 3, 4, 5 enhancing an ultra-low sound frequency and with a high-pass filter 11, is provided with switching means 10, 12, 14, 16 that eliminate the high-pass filter 11 from a sound signal path when a sound signal fed to a loudspeaker 9 has a medium level or lower or insert the high- pass filter 11 into the sound signal path, when the sound signal fed to the loudspeaker 9 has medium level or higher.
