PURPOSE: To obtain broad therapeutic and treatment effects and a soft stimulus feel. CONSTITUTION: The square wave pulses outputted at prescribed repetitive frequencies are subjected to pulse-duration modulation. As a result, the repetitions of the square wave pulse groups S including a plurality of the signal components of the frequencies higher than those of the square wave pulses are imparted from an output terminal 24 to the organism. Since the organism has a capacitor characteristic, the impedance thereof is lower as the frequencies of the signal components are higher. The waveform over the entire part of the square wave pulse groups S is then distorted and the softer stimulus feel than that of the square wave pulses is resulted. Even more, the signal components contain a plurality of the signal components of the frequencies higher than those of the square wave pulses and the broad therapeutic and treatment effects by such signal component can be expected.
