PURPOSE: A character information service system and method and a character doll using the same are provided to transmit a voice message, an image or a motion selected by a character doll possessor or the third person to a receiver character doll so that a terminal can regenerate the message or the image or revive the motion. CONSTITUTION: A character information service system contains a host sub-system(100) and a radio link relay sub-system(120). The host sub-system(100) is comprised of an Internet server(102), a voice synthesis database(104), a message library database(105), a CTS(Computer Telephony System)(106), a transmit server(108), and a message storage database(110). The radio link relay sub-system(120), provided with an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(122) and a plurality of base stations, is interfaced to the host sub-system(100) through the MSC(122), an SMSC(Short Message Service Center) or other nodes. The Internet server(102) contains a program to convert web documents and character messages into voice data. The host sub-system(100) provides web documents to a message sender's PC(10) so that the sender can select or input a voice message or music, input image data, or select a specific motion to be produced by a receiver's character doll. The voice synthesis database(104) stores the data necessary to convert character messages inputted by senders into voice data. The message library(105) stores message libraries that senders can select.
