<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball with improved durability against hitting without lowering the resilience against hitting. SOLUTION: This golf ball comprises a core and a cover to cover the core. The resin component forming the cover comprises; (a) a potassium ionomer resin whose 20-70 mol% of carboxyl groups of an ethylene-α,β-unsaturated carbonic acid copolymer containing 10-20 mass % ofα,β-unsaturated carbonic acid copolymer are neutralized by potassium ions, melt index is 0.6-0.8, and Shore D hardness is 55-77, and (b) a potassium ionomer resin whose 20-70 mol% of carboxyl groups of an ethylene-α,β-unsaturated carbonic acid copolymer containing 10-20 mass % ofα,β-unsaturated carbonic acid copolymer are neutralized by magnesium ions, melt index is 0.6-8, and Shore D hardness is 55-70.</p> |
