PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording device capable of driving a tube pump type recovery system more appropriately. SOLUTION: A pump 102 of a head recovery device has a rotatable roller 108 supported by a rotor 107. The rotatable roller 108 sucks an ink from a head 2 by generating a negative pressure on the head side by squeezing a tube 103 with respect to a curved part 110 of a case 109 by rotation. At the time of rotating the rotor 107, variable control of the rotation speed of a motor for driving the rotor is carried out according to the output of an origin sensor 105 as well as according to the rotor rotation angle position. That is, the motor speed is reduced in a heavy load rotation angle range. The positional relationship (phase) of the rotatable rotor 108 in a plurality of rotors with respect to a plurality of heads can be unidentical. |
