PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate attaching or detaching of a case member that forms an external appearance section by covering a frame member of a printer and surely fix the case member. SOLUTION: A long fixing metal fitting 40 is used in order to fix the case member 20 forming a part of the external appearance section of the printer to the frame member for supporting a structural component that realizes a function of the printer. The fixing metal fitting 40 is engaged with an engagement section of the frame member and an engagement section 20e of the case member 20 by the roughly straight movement so that the case member is fixed to the frame member. The printer comprises a metal fitting cover 25 that covers the fixing metal fitting 40 and forms a part of the external appearance section of the printer by being engaged with the case member. The metal fitting cover 25 is equipped with a contact part 25d for restricting the movement of the fixing metal fitting 40 at the engagement, thereby preventing loosing of the fixing metal fitting 40. |
