IRIS RETRACTOR WHICH IS USED FOR EYE SURGERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved iris retractor. SOLUTION: This iris retractor is an instrument which is used in an eye surgery. The iris retractor has a main stretching section wherein an engaging member is formed at the end section which is inserted in an anterior ocular through a dissection in order to attract the iris. A fixing member is slidably fixed to the main section in order to locate and fix the main section at a proper location. The main section is formed of a flexible polymeric substance having a hue which presents a contrast with the hue of the iris along a zone starting at least from the engaging member to one half of the length of the main component.
