PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot moxa cautery device capable of reducing heat to perform soft thermal moxa treatment. SOLUTION: In the hot moxa cautery device, a through-hole 2 is provided in a pedestal 1 so as to pass through the pedestal and moxa 3 is provided on the upper surface of the pedestal 1 so as to cover the upper opening of the through-hole 2. The through-hole 2 is closed by a heat transfer material 4. The heat transfer material 4 acts as a cushioning material to prevent the linear advance of the combustion heat of moxa 3.
