PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raising apparatus which is an apparatus for raising freshwater fishes in the upstream region of a river, capable of raising many freshwater fishes by a small water tank and growing the freshwater fishes not to give any difference in quality between rearing fishes and natural fishes. SOLUTION: This apparatus for raising freshwater fishes is constituted of a suction pipe 3, a water storage tank 2 and a water tank 1. The suction pipe, the water storage tank and the water tank are mutually connected by pipes 4 and 5. The water tank 1 is equipped with a cylindrical auxiliary cylinder 7 in a cylindrical main body 6, the pipe 5 led from the tank 2 is connected to a jetting pipe 9 vertically stood at the outside of the auxiliary pipe 7 and water from the tank is jetted out from holes 10 of the jetting pipe 9.
