PURPOSE: An emblem of a vehicle for securing visibility of blind areas is provided to decide presence of front obstacles as well as to secure visibility of side front areas by mounting rotatable mirrors at both sides of an emblem set on the front side of a hood. CONSTITUTION: A blind area is formed at the front side or the side rear at the narrow crossroads of when a large vehicle is stopped on a side. To secure visibility of the blind area from a driver's seat, an emblem on a front hood is rotated at a specific angle and a couple of mirrors(24) are spread. The visibility of the blind area is secured through the mirrors formed at both sides of the emblem. The rotated emblem is returned to the original position automatically by a control unit in a specific time. To rotate the emblem, a drive shaft(31) is rotated by a motor(30). A drive gear(32) is operated by the drive shaft, and the rotation is transferred to a body drive gear unit engaged with the drive gear. A decelerator(33) on a side of the body drive gear unit is rotated, and a pinion gear(34) is interlocked. Thereby, a rack gear(35) is moved backward. When the rack gear is moved backward, a link(36) pushes the center of the mirrors to spread the mirrors. A body(23) is rotated to be on the straight line with a driver. In a specific set time, the emblem is rotated in the opposite direction of the gear to be returned to the original position. The mirrors are folded. In addition, an approach sensor(50) is mounted on the front side to detect obstacles in front of a vehicle. The detected data are output through a display(60) to promote convenience in parking.
