PURPOSE: An apparatus for supplying a timing clock is provided to use a reference clock of all switching network, a subscriber terminal, and an optical transmission apparatus by using an output signal. CONSTITUTION: A clock convertor(10) receives a framed E1/DS1 clock signal(1.554/2.048 Mbps) from an input end and converts it into same clock frequency(1.544/2.048 MHz). A first clock demultiplier(20) converts the clock frequency output from the clock convertor(10) into a predetermined frequency(for example, 8 KHz). A second clock demultiplier(20') receives a GPS(global positioning system) clock signal(1/5/10 MHz) from the input end and converts it into same frequency with the predetermined frequency. A frequency stabilizer(30) is provided with the output of the first and second clock demultipliers(20,20') as an inner part of the clock. The frequency stabilizer(30) includes a first switching unit(SW1) in order to select the frequency of the output reference clock signal. The output of the frequency stabilizer(30) is connected to an input end of a clock amplifier/distributor(40) including a second switch unit(SW2) in order for a user to select and distribute a framed and/or an unframed output signal from an output end(P1,P2,-Pn). A system monitoring unit(50) monitors an alarm state of the input signal, the output signal, and the whole system.
