A system for providing information about whether or not a commodity fits the body of the user is characterized by comprising means for comparing commodity data with body data and means for providing the results of the comparison to the user. The difference between the form of commodity and the form of the body is quantitatively determined by using control grid points (22) based on the FFD method for the commodity data and the body data.
