<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device having an energy absorption mechanism capable of securely restraining an occupant even when an electric trouble occurs. SOLUTION: The seat belt device appropriately absorbs energy to the occupant by an impact at a car collision and/or a weight of the occupant releasing means 31, 32, 38, 39, 40 by receiving signals 21, 22 of the impact at the car collision and the weight of the occupant to determine a webbing drawing load 23, and selectively releasing engagement of a bobbin and the energy absorption mechanism with a plurality of energy absorption means 35, 36 in a state that all of the energy absorption means are engaged.</p> |
