Aluminum casting alloy

An aluminum casting alloy containsand aluminum as the remainder with further contaminants individually at 0.05 w. %, total max. 0.02 w. %.The aluminum casting alloy is particularly suitable for diecasting and thixocasting or thixoforging. One particular application is diecasting for components with high requirements for mechanical properties as these are already present in the casting state and thus no further heat treatment is required.
