PURPOSE: A signal lamp system for protecting walker is provided to prevent a traffic accident around a pedestrian crossing where a signal lamp is installed by generating a danger signal for vehicles. CONSTITUTION: A signal lamp sending unit(100) detects a lighting or an on and off of a green lamp generated from a signal lamp and sends the detected signal to a receiving unit for walker(200) and a receiving unit for car(300). The receiving unit for walker(200) receives the sending signal of the signal lamp sending unit(100) and controls a message or an alarm and tells that the walker can walk in a pedestrian crossing. The receiving unit for car(300) receives the sending signal of the signal lamp sending unit(100) and controls a message or an alarm and tells driver that the pedestrian crossing is in walking signal.
