PURPOSE: A system for creating a home page, a method for automatically converting the home page, a medium for recording a program, and a method for distinguishing a home page viewing are provided to easily create a home page without a certain knowledge, efficiently use huge information on Internet, and meet each individual's taste. CONSTITUTION: A user feature vector generating unit generates a user feature vector for specifying features of a home page user. An image storing unit stores an image data for forming a background image of the home page. A plurality of home page template documents allow a plurality of image segment file addresses to be attached thereto for forming one background image. A selecting unit compares the user feature vector with a template document feature vector, and selects a home page template document having the template feature vector matched with the user feature vector from the first storing unit. The second storing unit stores the selected template document by a user directory. A receiving unit receives the home page template document for the pertinent user from a server.
