REPEATING APPARATUS AND METHOD USING DSS IN SWITCH

PURPOSE: A repeating apparatus and method using a DSS(Direct Selection Station) in a switch is provided to offer all attendant console services without a specific attendant console by connecting the DSS to the switch and providing the attendant console service. CONSTITUTION: A multi-functional telephone(200) has a plurality of digit keys. Functions of keys used in an attendant console are designated in the keys of the multi-functional telephone(200) of a DSS terminal(300), respectively. A switch(300) is connected to the multi-functional telephone(200) and the DSS terminal(300) for receiving a call conversion request to a certain extension number through the digit keys composed in the multi-functional telephone(200) and the function keys composed in the DSS terminal(300) and performing the call conversation to the corresponding extension number.
