PURPOSE: A fishing device is provided, which uses an optical fiber to brighten the surround of a fishing rod for tempting fish by the light, thereby improving the fishing efficiency in the night fishing. CONSTITUTION: The fishing device comprises a light generation device(1); a switch; a fishing line(3) which is made of an optical fiber; a fishing rod(4); a float(5); and a fishhook(7). The light generated by the light generation device(1) is transmitted to the fishhook(7) through the optical fiber fishing line(3) and spread in front of the fishhook(7). The light generation device(1) comprises a battery and an LED and is turned on and off by the switch.
