AUTOMATIC ASH DISCHARGING APPARATUS OF SNOUT

PURPOSE: An automatic ash discharging apparatus of a snout is provided to greatly improve a removing efficiency of ash and greatly improve the surface quality of hot dipped galvanized iron by forming a flow on the surface of molten metal in the snout, thereby continuously removing ash accumulated on the surface of molten metal. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for removing ash in a snout(100) which is a passage between a plating bath and a heating furnace in a high efficiency during hot dipped galvanizing, the automatic ash discharging apparatus of the snout is characterized in that molten zinc in the snout(100) is pushed by a screw(20) from one side while molten zinc and ash(140) in the snout(100) are absorbed by a pump(50) from the other side so that the surface(130) of molten metal maintains a continuous flow across the snout(100), thereby removing ash(140) in the snout(100).
